South Chapel, Woronora Cemetery.
A reception will follow from 12.30pm at the Engadine RSL Function Room.
RSL members and veterans wishing to attend are encouraged to wear their suit and medals.
We will honour Gary’s service, his commitment to veterans and their families, and the enormous contribution he made to our sub-Branch and the wider Engadine community.
We will remember him.

Our mission at the Engadine RSL is to provide care for veterans, ADF members, and their families by fostering welfare, connection, and mateship within our local community. Since 1949, the Engadine Sub Branch has been dedicated to veteran support, strengthening the Engadine veteran community, and ensuring that those who have served are met with the respect, support, and sense of belonging they deserve within RSL NSW.

Founded in 1949 by twelve local veterans, the Engadine RSL sub-Branch has become one of the largest sub-branches in the Sutherland Shire, boasting over 170 members. Since the inception of its first ANZAC Day Dawn Service in 1957, the Engadine RSL sub-Branch has proudly upheld a significant commemorative role within the Engadine community, with thousands attending the annual Dawn Service in Engadine Town Square. Over the years, this RSL NSW sub-branch has broadened its commemorative activities to include the ANZAC Day Street March, Remembrance Day, Vietnam Veterans Day, and Middle East Area of Operations services. Throughout, the Engadine Sub Branch continues to provide vital veteran support to veterans and their families through welfare, connection, and mateship.

The Engadine Sub Branch of the RSL NSW is led by an elected executive and supported by dedicated volunteers who bring lived service experience and a strong commitment to veteran support for veterans and their families.

The Engadine RSL sub-Branch gathers on the first Monday of every month in the Everest Room at Club Engadine RSL. New members are always encouraged to join us at the Engadine Sub Branch.
In 2026, the sub-branch will expand its offerings by providing a variety of sport, recreation, and welfare activities, in addition to its regular meetings and ongoing commemorative activities, all aimed at enhancing veteran support within the RSL NSW community.

Joining the Engadine RSL sub-Branch means staying connected to individuals who truly understand service. Whether you are currently serving or have transitioned from the Australian Defence Force, the Engadine Sub Branch offers mateship, support, and a robust local veteran community.
The bond formed through service extends beyond the uniform. At Engadine, veterans connect with others who recognize the challenges associated with service and transition, providing valuable veteran support to one another.
Membership with the Engadine RSL connects you to a local community dedicated to welfare, commemoration, and genuine relationships, while also granting access to essential support services through the broader RSL NSW network.
